Habanero peppers are known for their heat. Under the heat, they have a fruity and tart citrus flavor. Our Primo’s Habanero Rub is great on grilled meats, seafood, and fish. Add some fiery passion to your next cookout!
We also like to mix it with yogurt or mayo for a fiery fish taco sauce. Try sprinkling on popcorn or mix with sour cream for a hot dip!
As with all our rubs, we recommend ‘rub’bing it directly into your meats prior to grilling at least 30 minutes, and ideally overnight. Store in the fridge in sealable plastic. Dry rubs require a little moisture from the surface of the meat to stay on, but as the meat cooks and releases juices our rub will create a wonderfully flavored crust.
